On February 1, 2024, the prison called the sheriff office and requested backup from the K-9 officer (That’s the same K-9 the Clown sheriff gave away two weeks later as being medically retired).
This is the dispatch log showing the date and time and location. Deputy Dore, Deputy Coldiron, Deputy Coleman and Harrisonburg police officer Abshire were all dispatched to the prison.
while the dispatch log is very mundane on the events of that night the acts of the people involved were far from mundane.
According, to the former deputies there was an incident involving a number of inmates who were in a cell area of the prison. These inmates, for some unknown reason, had barricaded themselves in the cell and refused to exit. The prison staff broke out the door window and began using a pepper spray fogger into the room. Eventually, the inmates decided to exit the room. The prison staff then began removing the inmates one by one from the room and taking them outside.
The former deputies stated the inmates were then handcuffed with their hands behind their back and moved outside to the facility yard and put face down on the ground. While the inmates were outside on the ground, a corrections officer and Warden Wiley peppered spayed all the inmates in the face, for a second time, while prone and handcuffed. Warden Wiley was also cursing and threatening the inmates telling them he was going to make an example out of them for forcing him to come to the prison on his time off.
The deputies stated that Warden Wiley took a NOVA shocking shield
and began pressing the shield into an inmates back while he was handcuffed and face down in the yard. The deputies also indicated that Wiley would put his full body weight on the shield and began to shock the inmate in the back of the head until he screamed in pain. Warden Wiley then repeated this same act with the NOVA shield on each of the inmates that were prone on the ground until they also screamed out in pain. The whole time Warden Wiley was still cursing and telling the inmates he was gonna make examples out of them all and make sure they paid a price for making him come to the prison on his day off.
While this was occurring several of the inmates were begging Warden Wiley to stop the shocking and beatings. It was then that one of the correctional officers picked up an inmate off the ground, and then put him up against the fence and began choking the inmate till he could not breath. Warden Wiley also did the same with a second inmate. Placing this inmate against the fence and choking him, while cursing that inmate for daring to speak to him and beg him to stop. The correctional officer while choking the first inmate against the fence began to repeatedly use his knee, kicking into the inmates groin area until he collapsed in pain and gasping for air.
The deputy then indicated that Warden Wiley began kicking and slapping each of the inmates in the head that were on the ground and again cursing them. While this was occurring, Warden Wiley’s phone rang and he answered the phone telling the caller that he had taken care of it and all the cameras were off and it was all being taken care of.
Warden Wiley then noticed Deputy Coldiron and Deputy Dore were listening to his conversation on the phone and stopped talking and ordered the deputies to leave the facility. Both deputies indicated that they could hear and recognized the voice on the phone speaking to Warden Wiley as Sheriff Toney Edwards.
Deputy Dore indicated that prior to the inmates being removed from the cell that Deputy Dore and Deputy Coldiron were ordered to shut off their body cameras by prison Warden Wiley. Also, that prior to the beating of the inmates that there was discussion by Warden Wiley and someone on the phone about disconnecting all the video surveillance in the area of the prison.
The deputies also indicated that all of the inmates tortured and beaten by the correctional officer and Warden Wiley were black men, Thus it appears this abuse was racially motivated.
Deputy Dore, Deputy Coldiron, and Deputy Coleman all reported this incident to their shift supervisor and were all subsequently fired within a month of the incident. All so conveniently done to keep them quite and to try and ruin their credibility about reporting the incident by asserting they were fired. These three Deputies were all good men, who refused to be silent about the abuse and sadism they witnessed. For their trouble they were all fired and “let go.” Why?
To protect a corrupt sheriff and his cronies who get a sick perversion and thrill from beating and abusing people under their custody and control? Or is it just to conceal plain old school racisms? Sadly, my hope is its just the later, but I fear its the former.
This is very similar to a recent incident in Iowa using a shock shield.
While this Tale of horror was based on two of the former deputy’s statements about the incident, a former employee at the prison confirmed the incident as follows by text message just a few days ago. This whistleblower stated that:
It is unknown who the inmates were, they were not locals, so they were either department of correction inmates or pretrial inmates from East Baton Rouge Parish. Regardless of where they were from or what they had done in the past, this is clearly torturous abuse of people who are for the most part helpless and restrained.
The sadistic nature of these recounting of events shows the utter lack of moral foundation and leadership by the Clown sheriff who knows about this abuse and that it has been occurring for years and does nothing to stop it, nor did he even investigate these acts of abuse. Complicit in this abuse? You be your own judge! But my opinion is no doubt about it!
The same whistleblower indicated to me the following which I will just paste as a text as I received it, for it speaks for itself:
And yes this is the very same Warden Wiley who forced Maintrill Rodgers into J-dorm on October 28, 2022, where he was murdered ten minutes later. Coincidence? I think not!
How many more people need to be tortured, brutalized, and abused in this Clown circus, freak show at the “House of Torture” before its shut down?
This prison must be shut down. The Clown sheriff needs to stand up and accept responsibility for the sadists that he has allowed to operate under his name and with his consent. For all I know he may be one who enjoys seeing and inflicting torture on these inmates under his custody and control. I don’t see any reformation of this house of torture and abuses that have earned Stabahoula its name other than a bulldozer and something strong enough to clean the bloodstains off the parish for allowing this to occur in our backyard.
Until this blight and house of abuse is removed from our parish, we will be punished for the sin of self-righteousness for our ignoring and thus letting these torturers to have their way and do as they please.

But the cries of these watchmen on the walls are meaningless, if no one dares listens to them, and acts upon that cry!
This post is intended to express my political views about a corrupt elected official and or to provide lawful information to others about a corrupt elected official and a prison that he runs that is abusing and torturing inmates. It is intended to insult, be offensive, and be repugnant, towards Toney Edwards and all the administration flying monkeys at the Catahoula Correctional Center, sadly a governmental agency, that has been corrupted to its core and become a true Clown circus and freak show.
