So the Clown sheriff put out a pitiful piece of propaganda on his official Facebook page and in his rag sheet (aka the Catahoula News Booster) trying to glorify and paint in a new light the Stabahoula Uncorrectional Center. But as is so true of everything in life, no matter how much lipstick you put on the sow, its still just a pig, just like shit– still smells like shit, with or without the perfume. So, without further fanfare, or gilding the lily, here is the Clown’s propaganda garbage he has spewed at us this week, in all its stupidity. Be smart, don’t believe the lies told to you. Let’s talk about it.
So lets go through the lies the Clown has spewed out in his little propaganda piece, line by line.
Harrisonburg, LA – At the request of Sheriff Toney Edwards, the Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Louisiana Department of Corrections (LA DOC), conducted a comprehensive inspection—also referred to as a “shakedown”—at the Catahoula Correctional Center on the morning of December 17, 2024. The operation included two buses of correctional officers and specialized K-9 units brought in to ensure a thorough sweep of the facility.
So why does the sheriff office need to collaborate with a State agency to do an inspection of the sheriff office prison? Should not the sheriff office be capable and competent enough to manage its own prison without needing the help of a State agency? Apparently, the Catahoula parish sheriff office is NOT capable and competent enough to manage this prison on its own! Why? Because anyone with any sense, or even a single brain cell, has quit working there? Why cannot this prison, on its own, conduct a comprehensive “shakedown” of the Stabahoula uncorrectional center? That inability to do something, so basic as a shakedown of a prison, tells me that the Catahoula Parish sheriff office doesn’t need to be in the prison business, especially if it is incapable.of managing the prison on its own.
And lets not even go there with the K-9 units being borrowed from the State to do the sheriff office job. Especially so, when the Clown sheriff gave away one K-9 unit (who is, by the way, much better off in Tensas Parish) and the other K-9 unit, bought and paid for by the people of Catahoula Parish, is missing. “Bert” is probably dead due to neglect or abuse. Where is “Bert????” is he even still alive? did someone sell “Bert” and pocket the money? No one seems to know or care where “Bert” is! Truth is “Bert” is probably dead in his pen, having starved to death long ago because the Clown sheriff forgot all about him after the newspaper article was posted in his rag sheet. I mean really who cares about old propaganda or dogs you don’t have a need for anymore?
The safety of employees and inmates remains the top priority for Sheriff Edwards and his administration.
This is another Lie, if the Clown sheriff really cared about the safety of his employees and inmates, then explain why Maintrell Rogers is dead and in the grave, remember Maintrell was murdered on the Clown sheriff watch and under his custody! Maintrel Rogers safety was not a “top priority” was it! Hell, the sheriff office never really even investigated this case, but it did conceal material evidence in this homicide from the district attorney’s office, Why? Well. . . that’s pretty clear now isn’t it, just “whitewashed” it all so that no “shit” got on the Clown sheriff or his cronies. Some administration he has there!
What about Javon Kennerson, another black inmate. He was murdered in Stabahoula also. or Josh Scott who was murdered in the Clown sheriff’s own jail at the courthouse. Sadly, there are MANY more, that died or were maimed and injured mysteriously in Toney’s House of Torture. Just look at some of the other post on this blog. There is absolutely no care or concern for the safety of either employees or inmates by this Clown, except for the occasional covering up and paying off those sexual harassment complaints of female employees at Stabahoula, those do seem to be a top priority of the Clown sheriff and his administration. “But ‘ya gotta make sure you get a nondisclosure agreement, so old Clown boy ‘aint embarrassed.”
During this inspection, no street drugs were discovered within the facility. However, handmade weapons and other contraband items were confiscated, underscoring the importance of these proactive measures.
No street drugs found, most likely because the District Attorney found out about the Harrisonburg Sheriff Office Barn, to commissary, to chow truck, to chow line, to hall walkers distribution network going on at the sheriff office and as a result the Clown sheriff fired half the staff working at the prison running this drug distribution racket, right under the nose of the clown sheriff and his office. This all begs the question! Why would you be proud of the fact that no street drugs were found in your prison? Especially when your a law enforcement agency that is tasked with enforcing the drug laws of this State. I mean hell, the clown and company until last week were growing marijuana plants at the sheriff’s office million-dollar tin shed, and would still be growing it, and probably smoking it, if citizens had not complained about the plants being grown in plain sight of the public! Talk about the arrogancy of the Clown and his belief in his own entitlement.
Sheriff Edwards emphasized the remarkable progress made at the correctional center in recent weeks and months, stating:
“The progression of cleaning up the facility has been tremendous. Over the past six weeks alone, three major packages have been intercepted from individuals attempting to smuggle drugs into the facility.
Wow that’s interesting, there have been no arrests listed about these alleged smuggling operations, there have been no reports made to the courts or the press about these smuggling operations. Just like there has been no cleaning up the facility, again all lies to make the Clown sheriff, and his cronies, try to look good and reinforce their arrogancy and own sense of entitlement and importance.
I want the people of Catahoula Parish to know that the Catahoula Correctional Center is secure. We are working as diligently as possible to minimize what makes it past the gates so that, hopefully, nothing does as we continue to prioritize safety.”
Well, well, well, let’s see. We had an escape from the prison just a little over a month ago, clearly that makes Stabahoula real secure now doesn’t it, I guess the clown forgot about that one. Or maybe he wasn’t told about it? The Clown sheriff is really gaslighting the public on this one. Stabahoula is anything but secure, don’t believe these lies! And it’s not the gates at Stabahoula that’s the problem, they are working fine, it’s the human element that’s the problem. That house of torture, that now including firewood sales, needs to be shut down for good!
Sheriff Edwards further highlighted the success of the partnership between the LA DOC and local correctional staff, noting the improvements achieved thus far. While additional items have been found during recent operations, significant strides have been made toward creating a safer environment for all individuals within the facility.
So now if this is true, lets take a closer look at what was found during this December 17, 2024 “shakedown.” This is from the Clown sheriff’s pictures.
Those two items are not homemade shanks, those are folding knives bought in a store, found on inmates at the Clown Sheriff’s prison? Well, it is after all Stabahoula, but if there are no visitors permitted at the correctional center, which there are not since the Covid restrictions, how did store bought folding knives get into the prison? I mean, were not talking about stuff inmates made. These were brought into that prison by staff and sold to the inmates. That is the “improvements achieved thus far,” the Clown speaks of? That is the “High standards of integrity,” that the Clown’s employees are being held to?
“My employees are held to a high standard of integrity, and this collaborative effort demonstrates our commitment to maintaining a secure and orderly correctional center,” Sheriff Edwards stated.
So, the Clown sheriff “commitment” he speaks of is at best doubletalk out of the side of his mouth and at worst outright lies. Again more gaslighting us all. 10 to 1 odds the clown sheriff doesn’t even know what the word “integrity” means. That said, the proof is in the numbers and the ethical violations committed by the clown and his cronies. Oh, an ethics seem to be something the Clown and his cronies don’t abide by at all. Why is the sheriff office selling firewood and where is the money going? Into the sheriff pocket? Is this some private business using the sheriff office as an advertisement medium and running their business out of Stabahoula? Or is this a private business run out of the sheriff office by the Clown sheriff himself or a crony of his and using taxpayer resources to advertise and sell their product? Is this something every business in the parish is now able to do? To be able to advertise and sell good with the clown sheriff endorsing these goods? That’s his picture on the advertisement is it not?. I wonder if the Clown was paid for his endorsement of selling firewood? So “held to high standard’s of integrity” I think not! Ethics violation it tis!
“held to high standard’s of integrity” What about the DUI wreck of one of his correctional officers from Stabahoula at Thanksgiving? The clown sheriff gave her a promise to appear and get out of jail free card before the ink was dry on the accident report? I can just about 100% assure you her case will never even be brought inside a courtroom. Clown sheriff will see to that. But if any of us “Little People” did that! Well, you can guess what would happen.
The Clown sheriff needs to go to Wal-mart and buy himself some integrity, before he starts spewing shit out of his mouth talking about his “employees are held to a high standard of integrity.” this is just more of his doublespeak and outright lies to the people in this trash article of propaganda.
The photographs accompanying this release illustrate the items confiscated, in yesterday’s inspection, which revealed no street drugs.
Again, what is it with the no street drugs found at Stabahoula? Why is the Clown so proud that no street drugs were found in his prison? Is that an achievement? Is this the new low goal post standard we are working towards in Catahoula Parish? Well, the Parish may be falling apart, we have no functional economy, the police jury is deficit spending, the school system is failing, everyone is moving out of this parish, but be thankful! We have a tank for Christmas parades, a missing K-9 unit, and no street drugs in our prison!
The Clown sheriff’s “Commitment to Safety”
The Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Office remains dedicated in its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the correctional center. Through continued diligence and the support of partners like the Louisiana Department of Corrections, progress will continue to be made by leaps and bounds.
“Progress. . . by leaps and bounds,” Well? Let’s look at how well the Clown sheriff is doing.
Louisiana legislative audit reports tell the tale, I know, lots of numbers and makes no sense but to some bean counter behind a desk, but buried in the 2021 to 2023, report is something interesting about the Stabahoula uncorrectional Center. So here are the links to the reports.

there seem to be large amounts of money that is going out the door of Stabahoula without it ever being budgeted. These reports show that the administrative costs of Stabahoula have mushrooms into millions of dollars that are? Are they Missing? Why is the clown not complying with State law on the budgeting of the correctional center? Why is Stabahoula bleeding so much money in administrative costs to us the citizens of Catahoula Parish?

A few notes of my own to highlight for you:
2021 administrative costs of Stabahoula were $625,735 dollars;
2022 administrative cost of Stabahoula were $4,433,996 dollars;
a 545 percent increase in administrative costs from the year before. . . WHAT?
2023 administrative costs of Stabahoula were were $7,822,432 dollars;
a 94 percent increase in administrative costs from the year before. . . NOW THATS INSANE even for a clown!
Even more concerning to me is the unfavorable variance in 2021 that was some $680,794 dollar variance between the budget and what was spent in administrative costs at Stabahoula, what did all that money go to?
In 2022 that unfavorable variance exploded to some $5,369,837 variance between the budget and what was spent in administrative costs, wow! that’s lots of ice cream cones.
And, how about the unfavorable variance in 2023 of $3,892,582 dollars, I don’t know about y’all but that seems like a lot of money in “administrative costs” in less than three years.
While I am not real sure what the “unfavorable variance” means, in the language of the legislative auditor, it doesn’t sound to me like its a good thing!
And looking at the reports and the clown sheriff responses to the poor audits in 2021, 2022, AND 2023, he could not fix what he said he was fixing in the reports. So the clown sheriff apparently lied in his reports that “the management of the Sheriff’s Office will begin amending its budget when expenditures are more than 5% of the budgeted amount” he said he was gonna do it, but has yet after three bad audit reports has still not complied with Louisiana law,. . . WHAT IS THE CLOWN HIDING in these Stabahoula administrative costs that have all these variances?
I mean its not hard, why cannot the clown sheriff comply with Louisiana law on his budgeting of the administrative costs associated with STABAHOULA? More lies? or something else?
Why can’t the Clown sheriff get his Employees who are held to such “high standards” comply with the law on ethics training and sexual harassment training that is mandated by law for ALL public employees.
2022 and 2023 the audits cite that a survey of the required training showed the employees didn’t do their “Mandatory Training” required by all public employees. WHY?
Well, short answer is, when there are no consequence’s for violating the law, then why even bother to follow the rule of law? Thats how the Clown sheriff thinks and feels, that is why he is a Clown! That is why he is a lair, and yes his pants are on fire!
(just a side note, Its now December of 2024 and still no audit report for year 2023? Curious? I wonder why?)
I am no accountant, but I can read and to all this bullshit the clown sheriff has put out there on his little pet prison from the faux graduation ceremonies of inmates, to this bullshit article on his shakedown, to the outrageous administrative costs this prison is taking from the people of Catahoula Parish, all just to line the pockets of the clown sheriff and his cronies, I just have this to say:
This post is intended to express my political views about a corrupt elected official or to provide lawful information to others about a corrupt elected official. It is intended to insult, be offensive, and be repugnant, and to show how Toney Edwards has lied to the people of Catahoula Parish and has made the office of sheriff of Catahoula Parish the butt end of a joke for the world to see. If Toney Edwards had even a low standard of integrity, he would resign in disgrace and crawl under a rock!
